Mallee Rising is a social enterprise

Its commercial fee-for-service arm supports its social and community initiatives including its co-working hub at Campbell Street, Swan Hill. As a social enterprise, it must:

  • Trade sustainably, which means it must generate enough money to cover costs and make a profit/surplus;

  • Create a measurable social benefit either via the way the enterprise operates, via its outputs/outcomes, or via the way its profits are used. These benefits may be directed towards achieving community, environmental, cultural, economic or social needs.
